本気で買おうかと思っていたし、週末に試乗してみたら、めちゃくちゃ気に入った。でも、航続距離が短すぎる。海までドライブしたり、30マイル以上走ったりするのに「ちゃんと家まで帰れるかな」と心配しながら運転したくないんだよね。
とりあえず今は2022年式の（ヒュンダイ）アイオニックに乗り続けながら、このタイプの車でもっと航続距離が長いモデルが出るのを待つつもり。個人的には最低でも200マイルは欲しい。128マイルじゃね……。

これは街乗り用の車なんだから、大容量で重くて高価なバッテリーなんて必要ない。ホンダのエンジニアは分かっている。

120マイルの航続距離でも、自分の両親のような年金受給者には何の問題もない。普段は近所をちょこちょこ走るくらいで、50マイル以上走ることなんてほとんどないからね。それに、折りたためるリアシートは、親父が折りたたみ式の電動モビリティスクーターを積むのにちょうどいい。トランクに持ち上げて入れるよりずっと楽だ。完璧だね！

ホンダN-BOXやスズキ・スペーシアのような軽自動車は、街中を走るのに本当に理にかなっている。小さいのに車内は十分広いし、便利な機能もたくさん付いている。イギリスやヨーロッパにも、こういうカテゴリーの車があっていいと思う。
( Kei cars like the Honda N-Box and Suzuki Spacia make so much sense for urban driving. They are small yet spacious enough inside, and they have so many nifty features. I agree there should be this category of cars in the UK and Europe. )
