ミラノ・コルティナ2026冬季オリンピックのスノーボード女子スロープスタイルで、19歳の深田茉莉（ふかだ・まり）選手が同種目としては日本勢初なる金メダルを獲得しました。また先日のビッグエアで金メダルを獲得した村瀬心椛（むらせ・ここも）選手も銅メダルを獲得して日本勢がダブル表彰台を果たしました。このニュースを中心に後述で海外の反応をまとめました。

Somebody commented on this on the daily thread, but the way the scoring gradations on the rails were set was creating more separation between competitors than the jumps. So people were regularly getting scores of 3 or 4 on the rail elements simply for coming off a bit early. Whereas a cleanly landed jump was scoring at least a 7, even if it was relatively low difficulty. You can see this in the scores of the three medallists - the first three scores are for the rails, the last three are for the jumps: Fukada (JPN): 8.70, 7.85, 7.95, 10, 7.70, 8.30 + Composition score: 37.33 = 87.83 Sadowski-Synnott (NZL): 8.50, 4.65, 8.90, 8.50, 9.10, 9.30 + Composition score: 38.53 = 87.48 Murase (JPN): 4.70, 9.00, 8.50, 10, 8.50, 9.10 + Composition score: 36.00 = 85.80. Fukada won because both the other medallists had a big deduction on one of the rails that cost them more than 5 points. And the scores they got for their more difficult 2nd and 3rd jumps weren't enough to make up the difference.

時間をかけて全員の滑走を分析したけど、あの順位は納得できるものだった。心椛とゾイはレールセクションでミスがあった。それに比べると、深田の方がコントロールできていてスムーズだったし。最後のジャンプはココモやゾイほど良くも難しくもなかったけどね。 総合的には深田が一番いいランだったと思う。
心椛とゾイの差はかなり僅差で、全体的には心椛の方がクリーンだったし、ゾイよりコントロールできてるように見えた。だから自分の順位は深田、心椛、ゾイ（高さがより重視されるならゾイと心椛が逆もありかな）。
I took my time to analyse all their runs and the order is understandable. Kokomo and Zoi had the mistake on the rail section. In comparison, I would say Fukada was more in control and smoother, while her last jump wasn’t as good or difficult as the jumps Kokomo and Zoi did. All in all, I’d definitely think Fukuda had the best run. It’s a lot closer between Kokomo and Zoi and I think Kokomo had a cleaner run altogether and it seemed like she had more control than Zoi. So my order would be Fukada, Kokomo and Zoi (could also be Zoi and Kokomo if amplitude it a bigger scoring factor).

本当に今回のスロープコースの設計はひどかった。レールセクションは素晴らしいけどキッカーを設計したやつは調査されるべき。スピードをほとんど乗せられず、男子ですら苦労し、女子選手の多くはナックルを越えるのがやっとだった。3つ目のキッカーのナックルで12人中9人がクラッシュしてしまうなんて、オリンピックであっていい状況じゃないし正直恥だ。女子決勝は本来の滑りを見せられず、見ていて全然楽しめなかった。
Seriously, that Slope course was abysmal. While the rail section is amazing, whoever built the kickers needs to be investigated. Almost impossible to build up speed, even the men had problems and most women barely made it over the knuckle! 9 out of 12 riders crashed on the knuckle of the 3rd kicker. That shouldn't happen at the Olympics and is a disgrace honestly. That is a shame honestly and made watching the womens final really unenjoyable because the riders clearly couldn't show out the way they wanted to.
